Brookside has sold its interest in its water testing laboratory to RM Wester and Associates of St. Peters Missouri. This transaction will facilitate the expansion of Brookside Environmental Services, LLC (Brookside) strengths in resource field services for St. Charles and neighboring counties. It will also allow more versatility for its Field Teams to work with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and other agencies.
Brookside will be partnering with Yoder Baer and Associates to provide a consulting team that will specialize in natural resource services. This team of professionals will be unique in that it will offer its services with specific emphasis to municipalities, contractors and residents of St. Charles and neighboring counties. Brookside Environmental Services will be able to provide skilled and experienced professionals in the following areas:
Wetlands - Delineations and mapping; 401/404 Permits; Mitigation design and construction; Monitoring and management.
Streams - Physical, chemical, and biological analysis; Delineations and mapping; 401/404 Permits; Mitigation design and construction; Monitoring and management.
Regulatory Compliance - Interaction with federal, state, and local agencies; Environmental Permit applications; Permit compliance monitoring
Ecology - Woodland, prairie, and wetland habitat enhancement, restoration, and management; Native seed collection
Botany - Plant identification and surveys
Soil - Physical properties analysis and Hydrology analysis
Research - Brookside Environmental Services,LLC has acquired a natural area to develop a wetland demonstration site which will be used to research aquatic ecosystems and wetland riparian.
