Boone Valley

Assisted in planning and permitting for proposed development in St. Charles County. Services included assistance in site plan preparation with regards to environmental issues and habitat protection; 401 and 404 permits; design, application for, and implementation of a mitigation bank; negotiation of cross access, storm drain, and other easements; and preparation of presentation graphics for P&Z submittal.

New Town

Brookside Environmental Service team provided design/building services for a variety community parks and open spaces which have included: Civic Green, Organic Farm & Triangle Park.

Peruque Creek Watershed Project

Working with Camp, Dresser & McKee, water quality sampling was conducted to identify non-point pollution issues. This project conducted as part of larger Lake St. Louis Storm water Management Plan initiative, included the development of an education and training program for residents and developers focused on Best Management Practices to improve water quality in the Peruque Creek Watershed.

American Bottom River Corridor Natural Resource Inventory

Working for the Southwestern Illinois RC & D and Greenway Network, Inc., our team of scientists conducted a resource inventory of the northern half of the American Bottoms. The American Bottoms is a large floodplain of the Mississippi River east of St. Louis. It is an area of diverse land use including agriculture, wetlands, industry, homes, public lands, and commercial development. The resource inventory included the identification and compilation of other resource projects, a survey of a sample of sites, analysis and mapping of data, and the development of a protection and restoration plan.

Wilmer Farms Project

Conducted stream delineation, stream water quality chemical analysis and biological survey and provided all regulatory compliance permit applications, mitigation design and prospectus for future stream bank mitigation.

Wentzville Bluffs Project

Assisted with regulatory compliance by providing necessary environmental permit applications, including Clean Water Act sections 401 and 404 permit applications, wetland and stream delineations and mitigation design.

Environmental Grant & Environmental Curriculum Development

Provided grant writing and guidance for environmental grants for the Greenway Network, Inc. and the Missouri River Community.

Dardenne Greenway Plan

Worked with local municipalities, conservation groups and government agencies to develop the Dardenne Greenway Conceptual Plan. These efforts provided the creation of the Dardenne Creek Watershed Alliance which has created partnerships with municipalities, conservation organizations and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to engage in a huge storm water research project for the Dardenne Creek Watershed.

Developed and provided water testing for the Clean Water Initiative for Dardenne Creek and Peruque Creek

Incline Village

300-Acre Cottleville Trails Residential Development

Provided the Waters of the U.S. Delineation for Peruque Creek for American Foods Acquisition Company 401 and 404 permit for the 150-acre AFG beef processing and distribution site in Warren County, MO.
