Water Testing
We have expanded our environmental field services to include a certified water testing laboratory that will provide water quality testing for basic chemicals, E. coli bacteria and certain radioactive substances that would prevent compliance with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations.
We are the only certified MDNR lab in St. Charles County
Thanks to a joint agreement with R.M. Wester and Associates, Inc., a pioneer in radiation investigation and environmental safety technology for private industry and the government sector, we have laboratory space conveniently located in the St. Charles area, making it possible to conduct and get results of laboratory testing in a timely manner for our customers.
Our state-of-the-art lab is fitted with testing equipment acquired from IDEXX Laboratories, Inc., one of the highest preferred providers of drinking-water microbiological testing in the U.S. IDEXX coliform/E. coli tests are the only commercial microbiological methods included in Standard Methods for Examination of Water and Waste Water, 21st edition.
Is your well water safe?
Abnormal levels of precipitation and flooding can cause contamination of your home well water supply. If you have your own well, you are responsible for making sure that your water is safe to drink. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency recommends that private wells be tested annually for nitrate and coliform bacteria. It is important to detect contamination as early as possible. Checking the quality of your drinking well water annually will provide the peace of mind that your water is bacteria free and safe to drink.
